Ushering in a new era in maxi-open yachts: The Mangusta 104 REV

The first of a new generation of Maxi Open models from leading shipyard Mangusta Yachts, the Mangusta 104 REV heralds the start of a new age in the Overmarine Group-owned yacht builder.

Debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival earlier this year, the evolution of its former model, the Mangusta 104 REV, encompasses Mangusta thirty-year expertise in the construction of sporty cruisers. She features an elongated, striking and sporty profile and a new interpretation of interiors from renowned designer Igor Lobanov. Designed with speed, comfort and one-of-a-kind aesthetics in mind, she features wide glass surfaces as a key design element. Measuring 31.8-metres in length, she has a beam of 7.06-metres and 1.6-metre draught with a GRP hull and superstructure.

The Mangusta 104 REV features ample outdoor and indoor entertaining spaces, with floor-to-ceiling windows and folding bulwarks as she was designed with Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising in mind. Measuring 170 gross tonnes, her airy interiors include accommodation for up to ten guests across four cabins. The full-beam master suite, located in the centre of the lower deck, features a seating area, desk, and walk-in closet. The VIP cabin is located forward, with a queen and twin configurable cabin located in between. Crew quarters, located behind the master suite, include two cabins for a crew of four and a hidden galley, with direct access via the main deck salon.

The Mangusta 104 REV features a spacious, light and airy salon that flows into the dining area on the main deck. Sliding doors lead to the main deck aft, which features options for al-fresco dining and an outdoor seating area. Forward, there is a dedicated sunbathing area complete with sunpads. The sundeck features a lounge and pilot station, with additional outdoor seating for when her owners and guests want to relax in privacy. The swim platform at her transom can fold out, offering more space to enjoy the open waters. The garage is hidden behind the stylish aft door at the transom and can house a tender of up to 5-metres as well as three jet skis.

The Mangusta 104 REV can be operated from the main wheelhouse or via the entertaining sun deck and is powered by twin MTU 16V2000M96L engines with a top speed of 35 knots with a range of 370 nautical miles at a 25-knot cruising speed.
